The house was large, spacious, and had a great backyard. Adding an outdoor fan would make the backyard even more enjoyable, especially during the warmer months.
All of the bedrooms were spacious, and the blackout curtains were a wonderful touch that helped everyone sleep well.
The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the house was very dusty, and the floors needed a better cleaning. My toddler’s feet were black from walking around inside, even though I tried to keep shoes on him—which, as most parents know, isn’t easy with a toddler! It would also have been nice to have a few extra trash bags available.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Despite those minor issues, we had a great experience, and if we return to Fort Worth, we would definitely book one of your homes again.
The Gable House was very comfortable and as shown online. It advertises as walkable and that is true but is further than we wanted to walk so we used Uber. We never had any trouble getting an Uber quickly.
We did not use the kitchen other than to make coffee so we cannot comment on amenities.
Our only little complaint is the house really never cooled completely down to our preferred temp but others might have been happy. Over 50 and like it extra cool at bedtime.
Cute in decor, comfortable, and close to stockyards. So exactly what we wanted. Couple of little things can be improved such as, could use larger fry pans/baking pans. Had a difficult time making breakfast and lunches for 8 adults. Housekeeping could have been better dust on top of lamps and cobwebs in corners. Through rugs needed a washing. Leaves in yard needed to be cleaned up.

We stayed at the cowboy lodge for my son’s wedding! We had a great time! The house is so cute! Just as described. David was so friendly and accommodating! He even got a crockpot sent to us!! Felt very secure with a locking gate and room to put our SUV!! Highly recommend! Thanks again!!
